Harrison Edward
documentary  youth culture + fashion photography
about    home

Based in New York City, my primary works focus on (and try to bridge) the intersection of atmospheric social documentary photography and experimental fashion photography. My practice interrogates youth culture and gender-queer frameworks. Through fashion photography I collaborate with young designers to construct speculative realities that challenge normative boundaries, while through social documentary I highlight rebellious youth-culture with care.

Currently, my work examines intimacy within transgressive public spaces, specifically the skate parks of New York City, capturing how community exists through repetition and ritual.

My work has been exhibited in the United States, Asia, and within curated digital forums.
